Hi Mavis,
Do you know the names and parents of the Herring sisters? I think I am
currently at a dead end on my Herrings. By that I mean that I cant prove
for sure right now that what I have is actually true! My Herrings are
James, son of Miles and Sally Jones Herring. James was born Mar. 19, 1870.
I think Miles is the son or grandson of Benjamin Herring.
Anything sound familiar?

It looks as if our families are all mixed together. I believe James and
John Jackson were married to Herring sisters and the Price was probably
their cousin. Mavis

Do you have any info on Mr. Price? I also have a Price, I believe his name
was Gus. His daughter, Addie, married James Herring. The Herring's are on
my dad's mom's side.

You are right we have a mistake there.
Roll# 2072 Thomas Brigman Will to my son T. J. Brigman, wife: Melissa
Brigman, Daughter Elaline Brigman, Son Josiah M. Brigman. Daughters; Laura
Melissa Brigman and Eliza McKenzie wife of John W. McKenzie. Sons; T. J.
and B. C. Brigman. 16 June 1868. Witness; S. A. Hargrove, Jarrot Moneyham
and Rhoda Jackson. Proved 7 Dec.1868. My Eliza Jackson had a John
McKenzie as 1st husband whether or not it was the same John McKenzie I
probably will never know then married a Mr Price about 1853. Someone saw
that John and Eliza had several children and gave them back to my Eliza
sorry about that. Hope I have helped anyway
