Thomas Chiner arrived in Carolina abt 1697. Between 1704-1718, Thomas
Chinner-Thomas Chinners received by grant 1233 acres in Berkley County
and Elizabeth Chinner received 100 acres, July 8, 1704. She was most
probably his wife. This is according to a book The Beatys of Kingston,
a distant cousin of mine, Edward Stanley Barnhill, wrote before he died.
He wrote that Isaac Chinnours received a grant for 450 acres in Craven
County (now Horry), SC, Sept. 30, 1736. Ezekiel Chinners was in Horry
County Nov. 17, 1807.

This family could possible be distantly related to my Barnhills. I
haven't researched this family that much yet. Only started on it just a
few months ago.
