Hi Mavis,
Since we didn't connect on the Waters line, let's try the Jackson's.
I come off of Labon Jackson, Sr., whose son was Emanuel M. Jackson (b. 1808),
who had a daughter named Nancy C. Jackson (b. 1846). Nancy married Henry T.
Berry, the son of Andrew Steven Berry and Elizabeth (Betty) Tart.
Nancy's brother, Labon E. Jackson (b. 1838), married Henry T. Berry's sister,
Joanna Berry.
Nancy's sister, Lavinia Jackson (b. 1837-1838) married John D. Jackson. John
was the son of James J. Jackson and Lydia Herren.
Another of Nancy's sisters, Rachel Jackson (b. 1834), married Arthur Jackson.
Arthur was also the son of James J. Jackson and Lydia Herren.
I am also looking for a Nancy Jackson (b. 1797), who married Moses Waters.
Moses was the son of James Andrew Waters, Sr. and Catherine (Kitty) Parker. I
have nothing on Nancy's ancestors.
Moses' brother, William V. Waters, married Rebecca Jackson (b. 1802). I have
nothing on Rebecca's ancestors, but I strongly suspect Nancy and Rebecca were
sisters.
While that's all I have on those that married into my main lines, I have been
collecting data on the Jacksons hoping to find additional connections. I'll
be happy to share.
Thanks,
Gail
