Turbeville and variant spellings. Ellis, Alford, Johnson/Johnston, Bryan(t)
and connecting famlies of Craven, Old Liberty, Marion and Dillon, Florence,
Marlboro and Horry, SC.
Miller, Grover, Ford, Rowell, Lane, Berry, Cooper, McLellan, Perritte/Perritt,
Sweat, Finklea and of Course Smith as related to family ties.
Primary interest Temperance Hill area of Marion County and Old Ebeneezer
Methodist Church. Seeking location of parcel of land (for historiscal
purposes) purchased by Albert Turbeville born May 1854 from his Father John
Turbeville on Jan. 26, 1883 sixty acres, resold to John Turbeville on May 7,
1883 when he moved down into the Rowell township area of the county and died
there in 1925 Near the old Tabernacle Methodist Church Cemetery.

Land was . Located according to Deed adjoining on the East side property of
Charles Taylor and Hugh Smith ; by John M. Bryant on West Side; by John E. or
S. Perritt on the North side; and Amanda Turbeville Dillon (his sister) on
the South side.,
