Terry, maybe I was the one. I wrote someone who was going to have access
to the Bastardy records, wondering if perhaps my ggfather would fit this
picture, since I just cannot find his parents. His name is Darius Bright
Ayres, and he was born in SC in 1846. Other Ayres people lived in Marion
Co., so I'm assuming that's where he was born. Would you mind looking for
such a case in the notes you made?
