Hi All,
Has anyone ever come across the name Imberfield or Emberfield. I cam across
my gg grandmother's death certificate (she was 104) and it listed her father
as Jesse Imberfield (i think it's an I), and her mother as Lucy Lee.
Imberfield is an unusal name for me although he was listed as being born in
Dillon Co. (although there was no Dillon Co. then). My gg grandmother's name
was Annie, married name Calder. I also found Annie's daughter's death
certificate and it said Annie's maiden name was Nichols. So this is strange.

If anybody has come across this name please give me a shout
