Harvey L. Dixon
Harvey Leggette Dixon, 45, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2001, at Conway Hospital after an illness.
He was born May 22, 1956, in Conway, a son of the late Willie Mae Dixon.
He was a graduate of Conway High School and served in the Air Force. He was a member of Faith Temple COGIC, where he served as deacon, a member of the choir and the men's board.
Survivors include his wife, Wendelin Dixon; his grandmother, Lottie Dixon; two sons, Terrence Dixon of Virginia Beach, Va., and Harvey Demond Dixon of Conway; three brothers, Colden Benford, Charlie Benford and Gerald Manner, all of Conway; two sisters, Sandera Waters of Fort Pierce, Fla., and Crystal Greene of Conway; and a grandchild.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Faith Temple COGIC. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
Latimer's Funeral Home in Conway is in charge.
