Hi All,

I just want to drop a line and let you all know what fine people you have in
that area. I just spent a week up in that area and met some of the people
that help on these list and at the Marion Archives. I got to meet Maxey
Foxworth and Jo Church Dickerson at the archives and they are a great help to
visitors that stop by there snooping for old dead folks. I also got to meet
Helen Carmichael that is kind enough to post all the obits to the list. I was
hunting one of the older homes and went by Helen's house but she wasn't home
so I left a card in her door. By the time I got back to the motel she had
sent me a E-mail and left a telephone message trying to contact me. I called
her and she was kind enough to come and go with me and my wife to eat and
then try to get me some leads for the next day. I think we all had a good
time. Jo and Maxey helped me dig up stuff in the archives where they have the
original deed books for Marion County. I just wanted to let everyone know
what fine people you were dealing with and my thanks to all.
