Mr. Bill Jones, Jr. was born on May 13, 1942 in Lake View, South Carolina to
Mr. William and Maudell Jones, Sr. Bill was a long time employee of IBM
Corporation of Brooklyn, New York., then moved to IBM Corporation in
Research Triangle Park, NC to complete his years of service.
Mr. Jones leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife and mother of his
children for 39 years, Mrs. Jessie Jones of the home. Also, his five
children, Miss Tara Elaine Jones of the home, Mrs. Alicia Renee' (Charles)
Pierce, of Henderson, NC, Mrs. Joyce (Willie) King of Greensboro, NC, Mrs.
Crystal (Tim) Andrews of Durham, NC, Pastor Kenneth Faison of Monroeville,
Al. Six grand-children, Demario, Billy and Quentina Jones of the home,
Latesha Andrews of Durham, NC, Willie and Corey King of Greensboro, NC. Two
sisters, Mrs. Barbara Graham of Tabor City, NC, Miss Ida Mae Jones of
Brooklyn, NY, one brother, Mr. Robert Jones of Hempstead, NY, two aunts, Ida
Robinson of Dillon, SC, who served as his mother after the death of his
natural mother, and Mrs. Elouise Moody of Loris, SC. Three sisters-in-law,
Mrs. Teresa Ripley, Mrs. Rosie McNeil and Miss Hazel Jones, three
brothers-in-law, Mr. Thomas Faison, Mr. Andy Faison and Mr. Eldon Lee
Faison. One uncle, Mr. Marvin Moody of Loris, SC. Two special nieces, Brenda
Graham Shaw and Mary (Lorenzo) Mack. A host of other nieces, nephews,
cousins, relatives and friends. And his extended family, all of their God
children, young and old that have and are presently attending "Jessie's
Bundle of Love & Joy Day Care Facilities", owned and operated by his wife,
Mrs. Jessie Jones. To each of you, you were dear to his heart.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Bell-Yeager
Free Will Baptist Church.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Bell-Yeager Free Will Baptist
Church. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Scarborough & Hargett Funeral Home.
