Latta - A graveside service for Marylyn M. Roberts, 75, will be held at 4
p.m. Friday, October 11, 2002, in Roberts Family Cemetery, conducted by
Kannaday's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at their residence.
Memorial may be made to the Latta Rescue Squad, 107 W. Bamberg St., Latta SC
29665.

Mrs. Roberts died Tuesday, October 8, 2002. Born May 16, 1927, in Troy, NY,
she was the daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth Smith MacKey. She was
a businesswoman and the beloved wife of Ed Roberts for 51 years. She
attended Latta United Methodist Church, Russell Sage College and Samaritan
Hospital School of Nursing. She was involved in genealogy and civic
organizations.

Surviving are her husband E. B. Roberts, Jr., Latta; Sons, James Jonathan
Roberts of Fort Worth Texas and Edward B. Roberts III of Cary, NC, daughter
Mary R. Haselden of Latta, one grandchild.
