There were Sinclaire families along Black Mingo Creek [present Georgetown and
Williamsburg Counties], Jefferies Creek [Present Darlington and Florence
Counties which was originally Marion County], and in the Georgetown area
before 1750.

Don't quote me on this, but I get the impression that the eary name Lynches
Creek referred to the area about where present highway 42 crosses.
