Ammons, Rhoda Belle
MULLINS -- Miss Rhoda Belle Ammons, 84, died Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003, at
Marion County Medical Center after an illness.
Graveside services were held Monday, Jan. 13, in Cedardale Cemetery, with
the Rev. Scott Collins officiating. The services were directed by
Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
Miss Ammons was born April 22, 1918, in Dillon County, a daughter of the
late Gus and Rosa Belle McRae Ammons. Miss Ammons had retired from A.V.M.
and was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church.
Surviving Miss Ammons are a nephew, Sammy Ammons of Marion; a niece, Betty
Jean Ammons of Mullins; two great-nieces, Debra Ammons of Mullins and April
Todd of Mullins; and a great-great-niece, Dubree Ammons.
Memorials may be made to the Rhoda Belle Ammons Memorial Fund, P.O. Box
1145, Mullins, SC 29574.
