RODGERS, Maggie Mrs. Maggie Lee Stone Rodgers, 83, died Monday, January 13,
2003, at Pines Nursing Center after an illness. A graveside funeral service
will be held Wednesday, January 15 at 2 PM at Palmetto Memorial Gardens. The
family will receive friends Tuesday, January 14 from 7 - 9 PM at RICHARDSON
FUNERAL HOME. Mrs. Rodgers was born in Johnsonville, a daughter of the late
Dock Warren Stone and Janie Wall Stone. She was retired from the Marion
County School District, and was a member Marion Baptist Church. Mrs. Stone
was predeceased by her husband, Robert Woodrow Rodgers, and a brother, Loree
Stone. Surviving are two sons, George Poston (Angie) of Lawrenceville, GA and
Morgan Rodgers (Janet) of Roswell, GA; 3 daughters, Mrs. Derrell (Margaret)
Altman of Florence, Mrs. Darrell (Ginger) Brown of Latta, and Ms. Libby
Haselden of Marion; 2 brothers, J.A. Stone of Archdale, NC and D.W. Stone,
Jr. of Johnsonville; 2 sisters, Leno Powell and Latis Hughes, both of
Johnsonville; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
