Any help is appreciated. These are some of my Marion Co., SC "brick
walls".

I am looking for the following surnames in Marion Co., SC:

Parrott (or Perritt)
Rowell
Kennedy
McCormick
Harrelson
Coleson

Specifically, the people of interest are:
1. Aaron Parrott/Perritt b. c. 1822 His family is supposed to have been
in the ministry. I am looking for the identity of his parents and
siblings.
2. Valentine Rowell b. c. 1745 New England. I am looking for
information on his place of birth, the names of all 8 children, and his
parents. I also would be interested in details of the lives of his
descendants - stories, family fables, occupations, photos, etc.
3. John Kennedy b. 1850 NC, moved to Lake View, joined the Masons there
according to his obituary, married a Rowell, moved away. Some of his
children returned when they reached adulthood. I am searching for
information on his stay in the Lake View area and his birth date. His
grave does not have a tombstone and I am hoping to place one there with
his complete birth and death dates.
4. Sarah Ann McCormick b. c. 1837, daughter? of Peter and Frances
Thompson Phillips McCormick of Robeson Co., NC. Sarah married Jeremiah
Rowell. I am trying to find info on Peter and Frances McCormick or
details on any siblings. Sarah may have had a brother named Peter.
5. Melissa Harrelson, daughter of Abigail O'Bryan and Jeremiah
Harrelson, b. c. 1801 m. William Rowell. I am looking for information
on her siblings and the places of birth of her parents.
6. Elinor (Nellie) Coleson (or Colson) b. c. 1765 m. Valentine Rowell.
I am looking for information on her ancestry. I also would be
interested in the identity of the children of Valentine (4 of 8 are
identified) and background info on Valentine's other two wives:
Rebecca(sp?) Shaw and Phebe O'Bryan.
