DELCO: Mrs. Mattie Snipes Byrd, 67, died at home Sunday night. She was a Marion ,S.C. native.
Final rites were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Prosper Baptist Church by the Revs. Gary Hoffman and Williams, with burial in Prosper Cemetery. Survivors include her husband , Liston Byrd ; two sons , Elbert and James Byrd , both of Delco; two brothers , Robert and Forrest Snipes , both of Laurinburg; a sister, Mrs. Claude
Tyler , St. Pauls; and eight grandchildren.
