MULLINS -- Mrs. Ethel Mae Page Campbell, 81, widow of Pittman "Pitt" Campbell, died Tuesday, March 18, 2003, at Marion County Medical Center after an illness.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. today at the chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bill Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow in Devotion Gardens Cemetery, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home.



Mrs. Campbell was born Aug. 9, 1921, in Dillon County, a daughter of the late Sam and Annie Mae Smith Page. Mrs. Campbell had retired from Anvil Knitwear. Mrs. Campbell was a member of Bear Swamp Baptist Church and attended Mullins First Baptist Church.



Surviving Mrs. Campbell are a daughter, Dawn Campbell Hooks of Mullins; three sons, Arnold Wayne Campbell of Leesville, La., Sammy Kay Campbell of Chincoteague, Va., and James Franklin Campbell of Iva; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.



Mrs. Campbell was predeceased by a son, Tommy Campbell.
