Hanlon Jr., Carlton Joseph



DILLON -- Mr. Carlton Joseph Hanlon Jr., 75, died Tuesday May 5, 2003 in a
Dillon hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, May
9, 2003 in the Garden of Devotion Cemetery, near Johnsonville. Burial will
be directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway. The family will receive
friends from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Hanlon was born in Decatur, Ga., a son of Carlton Joseph Hanlon Sr., and
Lois Heil Hanlon. He was a World War II veteran and was a car salesman.



Surviving are nieces and nephews: Harold and Linda Tanner of Dillon,
Patricia Collins of Hemingway, Zeke and Joyce McDaniel of Lake City, Billy
and Koell McDaniel of Charleston and a number of great nieces and nephews
submitted by Helen Lane Wiggins
