(November 17, 1931 - June 3, 2003)



HAMER

Services for Nellie Cox Lane will be held Thursday at 3:00 P.M. in the Hamer
Church of God with burial in Evergreen Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral
Home. Mrs. Lane, 71, died Tuesday in McLeod Regional Medical Center. Born in
Dillon County, November 17, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Cox
and Mae Burr Cox. She retired from Dixiana Mill and was a member of Hamer
Church of God. She was married for 35 years. Survivors include her husband,
John C. Lane of Hamer; daughter, Sarah Daniels of Hamer; sons, Bobby Bryant,
Tony Daniels, and Billy Lane of Hamer, Wayne Bryant of Lake View, and Danny
Lane of Blenheim; sisters, Ola Mae Hudson of McColl, Ruby Hodge, Ruth
Johnson, and Maxine Cox of Dillon; brother, Lonnie Cox of Sumter; 6
grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; she was predeceased by brother,
Harvey Cox
