MULLINS -- Mr. William Edward Nettles, 69, died Wednesday, July 2, 2003, in
Mullins after an illness. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 5,
in Richardson Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m.
Saturday at the funeral home.Born in Marion, Mr. Nettles was the son of the late
Arthur Rivers Nettles and Roxie White Nettles. He was retired from Southern
Bell and owned Wenwood Crafts. Mr. Nettles graduated from Marion High School and
was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church in Dillon. He was
predeceased by a brother, Arthur R. Nettles Jr.

Survivors are a son, William E. Nettles Jr. of Dillon; four daughters, Evelyn
N. (A.S.) Brown of Mullins, Lillian N. (John) Beucus of Hickory, N.C., Sandra
N. (Bobby) Catlett of Mullins and Pearl N. (Michael) Rogers of Fork; two
sisters, Doris N. Lewis of Mullins and Cecile N. Rogers of Lake Wateree; and four
grandchildren, Rob Catlett, Annie Brown, Leeanne Rogers and Abe Beucus.
