Ruth Berry Moody



DILLON -- Mrs. Ruth Berry Moody, 101, died Saturday, July 26, 2003, at St.
Eugene Medical Center.

Mrs. Moody was born in Marion County, a daughter of the late James Henry
Berry and Eppie Davis Berry, and widow of Van B. Moody. She was a member of
Little Rock Baptist Church and a retired school teacher in the Dillon County
Schools for 42 years.



Surviving are one son, Howard Moody of Edgefield; two daughters, Eppie M.
Richbourg of Dillon, and Agnes M. Gardner of Fayetteville, N.C; five
grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by one daughter, Eula Mae Bickell, and one
great-grandson, Ryan Cox.



Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2003, at
Kannaday's Funeral Home of Dillon, with burial at Greenlawn Cemetery in
Dillon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. to 8
p.m. today.
