Peggy Ivey

Dillon -- Mrs. Peggy Lawson Ivey, 73, died Saturday, August 30, 2003 in the
Pines Nursing Home in Dillon. Mrs. Ivey was born in Orrum, N.C. on January
16, 1930, a daughter of the late Bert and Fannie Parker Lawson. She was a
retired co-owner and operator of the Firestone Dealer Store in Dillon. She
was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dillon and member of the
Florinette Sunday School Class.



Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, September 1, 2003 at 11 a.m.
at the First Baptist Church of Dillon with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery
directed by Kannady's Funeral Home in Dillon.



Surviving are her husband Doc Ivey of the home; son, Norman (Darlene) Ivey
of Manning and sister, Joyce Stafford of Paden, Okla. The family will
receive friends from 6-8 p.m. this evening at Kannady's Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, 400 North 4th Avenue,
Dillon SC 29536.
