Hospital here in Tampa with Mama...she is in pretty bad shape....picked up
some bug with the hoarseness and coughing....was on meds and feeling much
better...from Weds to Fri...then all of a sudden Friday morning, just quit
breathing on me after a mega coughing spell..called 911 and got her
here...Dr said if there had been a 5 min long span that she wasn't seen to
at that time, she would have been gone. She is hanging in...is on a vent
and totally sedated to keep her from trying to breathe and fight against the
vent. She also had a heart attack...and we are waiting to see what the
residual damage to the heart is from that. She has a 10% ejection fraction
which means she is only using 10% of her actual heart muscle...which is what
the DR told us is all that she has left of her heart that is functionable.
So...if you don't see me online, that is why. I will touch base with you as
son as I can....but !
