Just a thought.
My brothers Grandmother was Lizzy Watson Jackson Duncan. Her brother was
Curtis Watson never married. As a child Uncle Curtis broke his arm and was
crippled in that arm for life. When this happened his brother was sent to
the neighbors house for linement or laudenum "I may have misspelled these
words." As the child was running he was repeating the words linement or
laudenum Curts a dying. When he arrived he was repeating Tar Pitch or
Turpentine Curts a dying. Any one else ever hear this or a different version
