Thanks for the information Bill. I do not recognize the name Marvin Rascoe
but I do have quite a bit of data on the Rascoe families that were in
Alamance, Durham, Rockingham, Caswell, Persons, and Orange Counties from the
early 1900's back to the early 1800's. I suspect if I knew the names of
Marvins' parents or his Rascoe grandparents I could tie him in with the
Rascoe line for which I have records.

These Rascoes orginally were in Hyde County N.C. till about 1814 when they
moved to Orange County. I have traced the family back through Bertie and
Hertford Counties N.C. to Northampton County Virginia late 1600's. I suspect
the Rascoe who were in Marlboro County connects back to either the Hyde or
Bertie County branches but I have been unable to prove it.
