Have you found any Brown connections. My Edmund Brown family too lived on
Panther Creek from about 1780 to 1830. Daugther, Selah or Celia Brown,
married a JAMES, but have not been able to identify. She is mentioned in
Edmund's will in 1821, but in wife, Nancy Anderson Brown's estate in 1825
only the "heirs of Selah Brown" are mentioned so I assume that she and
probably her husband died between 1821 and 1825. Edmund Brown and another
JAMES were delegates to convention from Beauty Spot Church at one time.
