Bushy,
Thank you so much for your post. Also your web site is great. In
1978 my husband & I bought property in Marlboro county & I had to sign
Dower rights. I believe the law has since changed but dower was still
on the books in 1978.
I noticed on your website a gift deed from Gilliam Johnson. Do you
know the names of any of his children ? I have a Drucilla Johnson
married to Lewis Leviner. Their first son is named Isaac Gilliam. I
think he may be named for his maternal & paternal grand fathers. Any
info on Gilliam Johnson would be helpful.
