Issue of Saturday June 29, 1867:
Poisened – We regret to learn that a little daughter of mr. JESSE JUNKINS,
of this district, caused her own death last week by innocently using
strychnine, which had been purchased by the father, and left where it could
be had by the child.

Issue of Saturday August 3, 1867:
Married – On Sunday evening, the 28th ult., at the residence of W. H.
BURDITT, by J. R. SANDERS, esq., Mr. WM. G. LEATHERS to Miss SUSAN C.
BURDITT, all of Pickens.
Died – On the 23rd day of July last, HENRY G., only child of Mrs. ______ and
G. Mc.D. THOMPSON aged fifteen months and twenty-five days.

Issue of Saturday January 18, 1868:
Notice - MARTHA ELIZABETH JANE NICHOLSON has quit my house, bed and board,
without a cause, and I won’t be accountable for any contract sh has already
made, or for trhe time to come.
