1. J. C. (John) Cobb Sr. - 12th SC Infantry Co. K = Son of of Robert Sr.
and Ellender (Greer) Cobb

2. J. C. (John) Cobb Jr. - 12th SC Infantry Co. K = Son of John C. Cobb SR
and Isabella Copeland.

3. Robert A. Cobb - 12th SC Infantry Co. K = Son of Ephraim and Louisa
Turner Cobb.



BELOW All three were brothers and the Sons Of Robert Cobb, Sr. and Nancy
Adams AND they were also half brother to J. C. (John) Cobb Sr.: = All three
brothers, became Baptist ministers following the war.

Corporal Robert Cobb JR. was age 23 when he enlisted for 3 years on Nov. 2,
1861. His War Records shows he was wounded and appear on the list of
casualties, in Bratton's Brigade, in the Campaign of 1864, Army Northern
Virginia. Robert was wounded at Hanover Junction, VA., on May 24, 1864 and
entered the hospital on May 26, 1864 and was still at Howard's Grove Gen.
Hospital at Richmond, VA on Aug 20, 1864. He was listed as Robert and R.
Cobb on his War Records. Robert lived in the Pickens/Oconee Co. area all his
life, served several churches in that area. He died in 1921and is buried in
the Mountain Grove Baptist Church Cemetery near Westminster, Oconee Co.,
South Carolina.

Private Andrew A. Cobb War Records shows on Jul. 28 - Aug. 5,1863, he was
in Jackson Hospital, Richard, VA. Again he was in the same hospital on Jun.
17, 1864, for Rubella. Andrew records also shows he surrendered at
Appomattox Court House, April 9, 1865. He died 1913 and is buried at the
Gray Hill Cemetery, Commerce, GA.

Private Roland surrendered at Appomattox and was listed as a "musician"
during the last year of the war. After the war he lived in Westminster, SC
and had 5 or 6 children. He also was a minister at a number of churches in
Westminster.
