I am trying to locate any information about the Jacobite, Sylvester Prophet, who was captured by the English in November, 1715, and sent to Virginia on the ship, "Elizabeth and Ann," arriving in Yorktown, Virginia, in June, 1716. I am trying to establish a link with Sylvester's ancestors, presumeably in Scotland. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
