Hello,

I am researching the McGugan/McGougan Surname of North Knapdale, Argyllshire,
Scotland.

My ancestors came from Scotland to North Carolina in the late 1700's early
1800s to Robeson County and Hoke County, North Carolina.

I have had pretty fair success researching my family in the USA but I frankly
don't even know how to begin searching in Scotland except through this site.

If someone could educate me, I would be most appreciative. Aye!
