Hi list,
the site below has lots of references to Scottish people in
particular with some who travelling through the County of Derbyshire were
apprehended and returned to their place of Settlement where known or North
Britain if not certain. Many can be found under "Rogue and Vagabonds "
although I suspect that was a general term to enable to parish to remove
them.
