Hi All,
I am interested in the surnames Amos/Bryden among others.
William Amos b. Scotland ca.1782 where he married Janet Bryden(Brydon.)
They settled late 1830s in North Dumfries Tswp. Waterloo Co.
1851 census shows the following-
Amos,william age 70
Mrs.(Janet) age 61(buried Dickie Cemetery) others?
George age 30
Alexander age 17
Agnes age 21
John age 23
By 1861 the family has moved to Egremont Tsp. Grey County, where their
eldest daughter,Isabella and husband John Ferguson, had settled.
Agnes is no longer at home(married)?
Joan
Agnes is no longer with them. Married?
