Looking for Scotts that lived in Mich., Ogemaw Co., early 1800's to the
1920's...maybe longer. David, Napoleon,& Abram Scott cleared and bought
land in the early 1870's. Napoleon my great-grandfather married Didama H.
Grovenburg...they had several children and lived in Iowa from the late
1870's until 1899 when he returned to be near his brothers...David and
Abram. After Naps death in 1899 my grand-mother lived with the David Scott
family in 1900 and later came west to Washington with her brothers and
sisters.
It seems the Scotts had come from Tompkins twp., Delaware Co. N.Y. in the
early 1870's....their mother was a Clarissa Eggleston, she had married a
David Scott. Clarissa in 1860 is now married to a Josuha Culver. Any
information would be welcome. Thanks.
