I am still looking for Robert Scott's parents in GA. or possibly in SC.
Robert Scott was b in 1810 in SC and after three wives had died had a total
of 16 children. He came to Tx in abt 1865 after was was over. Most of the
children came to Tx with him, and his third wife, Ada Arilla Josephine
CHildres, dau of Martin Childers b 1791 in SC.Robert Scott owned a
plantation in Cass CO, Ga.(now Bartow Co) and after the war he was ruined
so he moved his family to TX. He d in Tx in 1877. Can anyone shed any
light on who his parents were?
