Have you any information on a Sanford SCOTT, who might have been Alexander's brother, or cousin? A large number of my ancestors left Knockahollet, (a tiny village a few miles outside of Ballymena), in the late 1840s, and early 1850s, eventually settling in Green County, Wisconsin. There were
several families who migrated together. I have a Sanford SCOTT in Green County after the settlement, whose daughter married my ggg grandfather, Ellison LYNN, who was from Knockahollet. It is better than a fair chance that these Scotts were from Knockahollet as well, since a large portion of
their little settlement (in Irish Hollow), came from there. If they were in fact, I would have to think it likely they're related to your Alexander. Do you know of any LYNN connections in Ballymena? It's worth a shot anyway.
