I have a Martha J. (LAMB) SCOTT born December 21, 1821. This date came from
her tombstone, but that doesn't prove its accuracy. Census records indicate
that some of her children believed she was born in North or South Carolina.
I do not know what the 'J.' represents in her name. She married Jesse P.
Scott and they lived and died in GA.
