Does anyone live near a library that has LDS IGI microfilm records?

If you do, please contact me. I need your help in checking a record the next time you go to the library.

Thanks.

Researching: Thomas James SCOTT, b/1802 Lincoln Co., NC. Parents unknown. His family moved to Overton Co., TN between 1800 and 1820 where he "grew up." He had two children by his first wife, one child died before 1840, the other child, Nancy SCOTT, married George HILL and lived on Crow Creek in Franklin Co., TN in 1840. His second wife ( possibly Susan or Elizabeth) was living near her father, William WILKINSON, near the Crow Creek area of FCT.

Thomas James SCOTT was living in Davidson Co., TN in 1840 when he went to prison for 5 years for "negro stealing." In his court records, the name of Thomas SCOTT was used. In his prison records, the name of James SCOTT was used. In his prison documents he listed Uncles Perry HILL of Franklin Co., TN (my GrGr GF), and two uncles living in Hardeman Co., TN named John PILES/PYLES and Quiller/Aquilla NEARING/NEARN.

A James T. SCOTT is shown in the 1830 Hardeman Co., TN census and is assumed to be the above Thomas James SCOTT.
