Dorothy "Dolly" was Lewis Smith Scribner's mother and Edward's grandmother.

Edward's mother and Lewis Smith Scribner's wife was Susannah and the surname
of Roring has only been confirmed through one marriage cert of son Wesley
Scribner. This surname is still under investigation and not to be taken
as a 100% confirmation.

Jack, I have been in contact with Sherron Lemons who is a descendant of
Sarah Scribner, Edward's first child and your Andrew Jackson Scribner's
sister. This Sarah Scribner married Lewis F. Scribner, son of ??? I will
e-mail you Sherron's address when I get home.
