Hello, My line is William Scribner. I discovered in 1996 that my thyroid didn't work. I learned in May 2003 that I am Type II diabetic. My mother was a Scribner and has taken thyroid pills for years. Her sister is diabetic and their mother was diabetic. My grandpa Scribner died with hardening of the arteries and other heart complications. Several male Scribners in my mothers family have succumbed to heart disease - two brothers died from heart attacks and one had a heart transplant then sleep apnea killed him. Colon cancer with related colon problems is also a Scribner trait. My mother's sister died with colon cancer as did my great-grandma Scribner.
To change the subject, are you aware of any SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) in the Scribner family? It will be 2 years next month, November, since my 4 month old grandaughter died from SIDS and we will never recover from such a heartbreak.
