Hello,
My husband Karl Scribner is the grandson of Karl Scribner
who was a brother to Donald Scribner. I am trying to get
family information for our family tree.
Our grandfather was Karl Scribner and his sister was Belle
Scribner and brother Donald. Trying to find out who raised
them because their father by suicide and mother died from a
brain disease.
Do you have any family obituaries? Also does anyone know
why John Scribner commited suicide? Looking for pictures
of John & Sarah Scribner, Karl & Donald's mother & dad.
I have a lot of pictures of the Scribners from Vermont and
other Eastern states, but we don't know who they are. There is an Aunt Effie> Some pictures of family in
front of houses and a lot of pictures of an old man with a
long white beard. Thinking it may be Abel Putnam. Just
not sure. We have quite a few pictures of Donald as a young
man. We have probably 30 pictures of the Eastern Scribner's
but don't know who they are. I would love to share them with
you.
Would love to know more about all of you. Would appreciate
family information date of births, deaths marriages on Donald
Belle. Also Donald's children and their children.
I would love any information you can share with me.
My father in law Fred Scribner is 91 he just doesn't remember much about the family.
