I have seen a memorial stone in a graveyard with the name of my multi-great
grandfather on it[William POU].It states"William POU,Continental
Line,Revolutionary War.I also believe that another POU,David POU, fought in
the war,but can find no other information.How can I verify that these men,or
indeed,any other family members fought in the war?They lived in
Orangeburgh,SC from 1740 to now.
