I have also been searching for a COURTNEY from Barnwell Co, SC. Robert COURTNEY b. abt 1795 in Barnwell Co., moved to Clarke Co, AL and married Vicy FOSTER. They named a dau. (the first child, I think) Nancy Rebecca COURTNEY. Robert's parents were: James COURTNEY and Elizabeth COBURN, I think.
