North Carolina is good place to start. I have found many entries regarding
several generations of James Griffin in that area. Mostly in counties on the
coast of North Carolina.

I am researching the Sanders families and one line of Griffins, one line of
Dempseys and one of Sanders all blend.

There was a Susannah Griffin, BUT.......I was using Olive Tree at the time I
believe. There is always that huge BUT in all that we do.. Rather like the
elephant in the living room, if u know what I mean.
