Hi. Thi is late coming and perhaps no one will read it-- but Sims LeQueux is related to me from way back in Santee/N charleston area, SC.

Sims married Harriet Walter (daughter of Harriet Cantey and Richard Walter) and they had app 8 children. Most of them died before the age of 20. there was malaria back then and also smallpox being right on the rivers.

Of their children, I only have the geneology for John Lequeux, who married Martha Darrell on 2/22/1803. This date as well as a sibling of John's- Elizabeth Brown LeQueux- seem old to be children of Sims--- and were likely siblings of his (eg,, they were wed @1803-1809 when all of the other the children in the Sims family were just being born).

I have more info but because I did not research Pineville (where my great great great grandmother allegedly lived and also there was a summer estate pass down thru the family).

At any rate- I have info on the plantations, lequeuxs witnessing wills, land grants, etc. I researched all of this for a project in a history class and it took me on a quite a journey. I ended up finding a relative back in the 1700's whom my great grandmother was named after, we now know!

write me if you have found any info on possibility of sims having a brother (john) and sister (elizabeth) siblings.
