Edgefield Bledsoes?

PROSPERITY - John Peter "Pete" Schumpert, Sr., age 86, of 1650 Blacksgate
East, died Monday, June 5th in Providence Hospital in Columbia, SC.
He was born in Saluda County and was a son of the late George and Louise
Yarborough Schumpert.
Mr. Schumpert had retired from Greenwood Mills Blalock Plant in Joanna and
was a member of Hickory Grove Christian Advent Church and later attended
First Baptist Church of Joanna. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt
and fish.
He is survived by his wife, Naomi Bledsoe Schumpert of the home; one son,
John Pete Schumpert, Jr. and wife, Becky, of Prosperity; three daughters,
Carolyn Lindler of Whitmire, Louise Dillard and husband, Bobby, of Whitmire,
Judy Ann Moore of Simpsonville; three brothers, William Schumpert and Curtis
Schumpert, both of Saluda, Milton Schumpert of Columbia; one sister, Mary
Ella Senterfit of Batesburg; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and
two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 7th at 3:00 p.m. at
First Baptist Church of Joanna. The family will receive friends at Gray
Funeral Home in Clinton Tuesday 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
