Hello Spartanburg researchers,

Last week I submitted two books I consider vital to research in Spartanburg
records. Several subscribers sent me e-mail questions concerning where they
could purchase them, since they did not have major genealogical libraries
convenient for their use.

I have not connection at all with Mic Barnette of Houston, but he has a
good selection of books including the Pruitt and Langdon books I mentioned.
Here is his address on the world-wide web where you can look at the
selection of genealogy materials he has for sale.

On September 19th, the Dallas Genealogical Society hosts its fall
symposium, and Mic usually has a booth set up there. If you live in the
Dallas area and are interested in genealogy, consider attending this one
day program. Both new and experienced researchers will find something of
interest. Go to the Dallas Geneal

Also, if you are interested in seeing what books are available from many
other sources, go to

to see what is available in new, used, rare, and out-of-print available to
you. Also, it gives some idea of what new and used genealogy books sell for.
