What are the dates on your James Edward PARKER?
My great grandgather was James Edward PARKER b.ca 1841 d. ca 1905 KY
He named his son (my grandfather) THornton William PARKER.
I have never found a maiden name or connection to the Thornton name and always wondered where it came from in terms of the family and why he gave his son the name. Do you have any info that would link your THORNTON and PARKER'S to my PARKER's?
Also my grandfather Thornton WIlliam PARKER had a brother James Edward PARKER that was b. ca 1882.
