Hello List,

Can anyone tell me if there is an organization anywhere in Britain that
has photos of old ships? There is such an historical group in the U.S.
that collects photographs of steamships and copies can be purchased very
reasonably. I have copies of ships that brought immigrants from to the
U.S. to Europe in the early 1900's. (Be glad to post the address if
there is an interest).

My grandfather was the Master of the "Ravenscourt" out of Greenock
(Renfrew) just before the turn of the century. I have all the data on
her that I can gather, but would love to add a photograph to my
genealogy data.
