Hi! there Gaile,
I saw your message about which films to order into the FHC.
First off there is two ways to do this and the first is to go to the FHC
and search the Family History Library Catalogue (FHLC).
The second way is to go to < http://www.familysearch.org/ >, and search the
Catalogue on line.
You need to search the < Locality > section for Scotland, Argyll, xxxx,
where xxxx is the area you are looking for and you will find a listing for
the different parishes and civil registration areas.
I currently have the Campbeltown OPR's for the period 1854 back as far as
the records go.
The film no. is 1041004 and 1041005, and they have Christenings, Marriages
and Deaths for the period.
I do hope this will assist you with your search?
Have the Civil indices been to the MacKay FHC yet as they are currently in
the FHC, which services Caboolture, Queensland?
Best wishes,
Fred MacKay.
