There is a Dunans near the north border of North Knapdale Parish. It is
about midway between Crinan and Lochgilphead, a little south of Crinan
Canal. I have an Ordnance survey map of that area. It looks quite small and
probably wouldn't be on a lot of maps. There may be other places with the
same place name. Seems to happen with some frequency.
